Mediacom Mobile Switch and Save Promise

Overview

Under the Mediacom Mobile Switch and Save Promise (the “Program”), switch at least 2 and up to 4 lines to Mediacom Mobile and we’ll help cover your remaining device payment plan balance with your previous mobile service provider, up to $500 per eligible line, when you bring your number and activate a qualifying Mediacom Mobile Unlimited plan (or higher) for each line.

How the Program Works

Receive up to $500 per eligible line (minimum of 2 lines, maximum of 4 lines and $2,000 per account) in the form of a Visa Gift Card (“Reward”) to help cover your outstanding device payment plan with your previous mobile provider (“Previous Provider”). The Reward amount will be equal to the actual documented remaining balance on your payment plan with your Previous Provider, up to $500 per line.

Example: If the total outstanding device balance with your Previous Provider is $1600 and you switch 2 lines, you are eligible to receive Rewards totaling $1000.  If you switch 3 lines, you are eligible to receive Rewards totaling $1500.  If you switch 4 lines, the maximum number, you are eligible to receive Rewards totaling $1600.

There is no minimum reimbursement threshold. After ordering Mediacom Mobile Unlimited plan or higher online for each line, you will submit your most recent two bills from your Previous Provider showing the remaining device balance to Mediacom for review, and if approved, receive the Reward to help pay off the remaining balance with your Previous Provider. You do not need to bring your old device to Mediacom and may choose to purchase a new phone with Mediacom Mobile.

Important: Do not cancel, pay off, or otherwise settle your device payment plan with your Previous Provider until you have successfully activated your Mediacom Mobile service and been approved for a Reward. Doing so may disqualify you from this Program.

    1. A standard credit check is required for all new Mediacom Mobile enrollments.

  5. If approved, receive your Reward by email (within 1–3 business days after approval) after completing Steps #1-5.

Important Program Terms

  1. One-time offer: Limit one Program offer (maximum of 4 lines and $2,000) per account.
  2. Visa Reward Card: This is a digital card that expires 12 months after issuance. Any unused balance will be forfeited at expiration. Users are responsible for compliance with any third-party reward party terms and conditions.
  3. 18-month service commitment: You must keep all qualifying lines active with an Unlimited plan or higher and in good standing with Mediacom Mobile for 18 months after activation. “Good standing” means your account has no past-due balance and is not subject to pending disconnection. If you voluntarily cancel, downgrade your service level below an Unlimited plan, port out to another carrier, or are involuntarily disconnected for non-payment before 18 months, or fail to bring your account current by the bill due date after a failed or declined payment method, a prorated repayment obligation will apply as outlined in #4 below. By participating in the Program, you authorize Mediacom to charge any such prorated repayment obligation to the credit card, debit card, or bank account you have on file with Mediacom, as described in #5 below.
  4. Repayment details: The repayment amount is prorated based on the remaining months of the 18-month commitment period and is calculated and applies separately per eligible line. For example, if you received $500 for the first line and $250 for the second line and cancel after 9 months, you would owe $375 (9 remaining months ÷ 18 months × $750). .
  5. Repayment recovery process: If repayment is triggered, you authorize Mediacom to charge the full prorated repayment amount owed to the credit card, debit card, or bank account you have on file with Mediacom, without the need for a separate invoice or any further authorization from you. You agree that Mediacom may use any such payment method on file for this purpose. If you do not have a valid payment method on file, or if a charge to your payment method on file is declined or otherwise unsuccessful, Mediacom may instead bill the prorated repayment amount to your Mediacom account, and that amount will be due upon receipt.
  6. Failed or Declined Payment Method. In the event of a failed or declined payment method, Mediacom will notify you that your payment was unsuccessful and that failure to update your payment method and bring your account current by your bill due date will trigger the prorated repayment obligation. If a repayment obligation is assessed due to a failed or declined payment method and you update your payment method and bring your account current before your next bill due date, any repayment that has been assessed will be reversed by Mediacom.
  7. No cash value: The Reward may not be redeemed for cash and does not discount your monthly Mediacom Mobile service charges.
  8. Maximum benefit: Up to $500 per qualifying line and up to $2,000 per account (maximum of 4 lines). If the total documented balance across all lines exceeds the per-account cap, the amount will be prorated across lines.
  9. Internet requirement: Because Mediacom Mobile requires an active Mediacom Internet subscription, canceling your Mediacom Internet service will result in termination of your Mediacom Mobile service, which would trigger the Repayment obligation described above.
  10. Balance determination: The Reward amount is based on the device payment plan balance shown on the documentation you submit. Mediacom is not responsible for any changes to your balance that occur after your submission date.
  11. Non-transferability: The Program offer and Reward are non-transferable and non-assignable. Only the eligible Mediacom Mobile account holder may participate in and benefit from this Program.
  12. Fraud and misrepresentation: Mediacom reserves the right to deny any submission that contains fraudulent, falsified, or misleading information. If fraud is discovered after a Reward has been issued, Mediacom may terminate your account, recover the full Reward amount, and pursue any other remedies available under applicable law.
  13. Program modifications: Mediacom reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this Program at any time without prior notice.
