What is Lifeline?

Lifeline is a federal program that provides up to a monthly discount on service for eligible qualifying low-income consumers.

Who qualifies for Lifeline?

Consumers can qualify for Lifeline through multiple ways, such as income, Federal Assistance Programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, or other programs, and through other means. To see the full qualifications, please visit here.

How do I apply for Lifeline?

Lifeline can be applied for online through the National Verifier or through mail. You can learn more about the application process here.

How do I apply my Lifeline benefits with Mediacom?

Once you qualify and have a completed application, you can apply your Lifeline benefit with Mediacom by calling 877-627-9157. Our agents will verify your eligibility and apply your benefit with Mediacom.

How do I keep my Lifeline benefit?

You will be required to recertify your eligibility every year. This may be done automatically through the National Verifier, but if it cannot be verified automatically you will be asked to submit required documentation to prove your eligibility.
