Mediacom Communications presented $1,000 scholarship awards to 55 new high school graduates as part of the company’s World Class Scholarship Program. The scholarships recognize outstanding leadership and academic accomplishments among students who applied for the competitive awards and plan to pursue post-secondary education.
“As a technology company, we understand how vital it is to invest in future leaders in the communities we serve,” said Ed Pardini, Mediacom’s senior vice president for operations. “We’re proud that our company supports talented local students, and we congratulate these 2019 grads on their accomplishments.”
Mediacom officials said the company plans to continue funding its World Class Scholarship Program. Application information is provided each fall to high school administrators in all areas where Mediacom provides digital cable and broadband services.
