Mediacom Xtream Internet + Xumo Stream Box Amazon Gift Card Program

These supplemental terms and conditions (“Supplemental Terms and Conditions”) govern the Mediacom XTREAM Internet + Xumo Stream Box Amazon Gift Card Program (the “Program”) and are in addition to those contained in the Mediacom Residential Customer and User Agreement (“User Agreement”). The Program is offered by Mediacom Communications Corporation (“Mediacom”) to individuals (“you”) who meet eligibility requirements (“Eligible Customer”). By applying for participation in the Program, you agree that the provisions of the User Agreement apply to you. 

By participating in the Program, you agree to use the Program only in the manner specified in these Supplemental Terms and Conditions, to be bound by them as well as the User Agreement and to the use of your name and email address to the extent reasonably necessary to carry out the Program. If you do not agree to these Supplemental Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorized to participate in the Program in any manner and neither Mediacom nor any of its affiliates shall owe you any compensation under the Program. You may not participate in the Program where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

The personal information collected, processed and used as part of the Program will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

1 Term of the Program

The Program begins 12:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) on November 1, 2024, and ends 11:59 PM CT on January 31, 2025 (“Promotion Period”).

 2.  Eligibility

An “Eligible Customer” is an individual who satisfies all the following eligibility requirements during the Promotion Period (collectively, “Program Requirements”):

• i. has not been a Mediacom Internet customer within the ninety-day period prior to the service order date;
• ii. does not owe a past-due balance or any unreturned equipment to Mediacom;
• iii. has not accepted an amnesty offer from Mediacom within the six-month period prior to the service order date;
• iv. subscribes to receive Mediacom XTREAM Internet 250, 500, or 1 Gig service;
• v. receives and activates* their Xumo Stream Box from Mediacom within 30 days of installation of Mediacom Internet Service;
• vi. maintains and pays for Mediacom XTREAM Internet for at least one month of service; and
• vii. Does not have a pending disconnection placed on their account during the one-month period referenced in (vi) above (meaning, the customer does not schedule a disconnection of service during this time).

*To activate the Xumo Stream Box, do the following: (1) While your TV is turned off, connect your Xumo Stream Box to your TV using the included HDMI cord; (2) Plug the power supply into an outlet; (3) When the power indicator on your Xumo Stream Box lights up, turn on your TV and select the HDMI input connected to your Xumo; and (4) Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your Xumo Stream Box and start streaming. Note that you will be prompted to set up a separate online Xumo account to fully activate the Xumo Stream Box.

Mediacom reserves the right to disqualify any customer from Program eligibility for any reason at its discretion, including but not limited to fraud, tampering, abuse, or any other activity or behavior that Mediacom determines in its sole discretion to interfere with the efficient administration of the Program and distribution of the rewards.  

 3. Gift Card Reward

Eligible Customers who meet the Program Requirements will receive one (1) $100 Amazon.com Gift Card.  Gift cards shall be issued in the form of a one-time use code (“Gift Card Code”) which shall be delivered via email to the email address on your Mediacom account. Gift Card Code must be claimed within ninety (90) days of email delivery.  Only one Amazon Gift Card will be issued per account.  Mediacom reserves the right to substitute a reward of comparable or greater value in the event of reward unavailability or otherwise at its discretion. 

Amazon Gift Cards may take up to take 6-8 weeks for delivery.  You are solely responsible for limiting access to the Gift Card Code and use of the Gift Card Code. You acknowledge that Mediacom has no control over the terms and conditions of the Amazon Gift Card and that all such terms and conditions are exclusively between you and Amazon.  You irrevocably and unconditionally release Mediacom, its affiliates, and their members, officers, managers, employees and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, rights and actions, known and unknown, arising from or related to the issuance, non-receipt, holding, use or non-use of the Amazon.com Gift Card.  For more information regarding the Amazon.com Gift Card Terms and Conditions, see here.

4. Cancellation, Termination

At our sole discretion, we have the right to modify, add or delete all or any portion of these Terms and Conditions and/or benefits, with or without notice. 

 5. Miscellaneous

Mediacom shall not be responsible for software defects, computer malfunctions, or telecommunications failures that affect the operation of the Program. Likewise, Mediacom shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by participants or by any of the software or equipment used in administering the Program. Mediacom assumes no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, loss, theft, or destruction of account balance information or other participant information.

Mediacom disclaims all responsibility for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting from, arising out of, or in any way related to (a) any errors in or omissions in administering the Program or related websites, including but not limited to technical inaccuracies and typographical errors, (b) any third party websites or content therein directly or indirectly accessed through links in these sites, including but not limited to any errors in or omissions therefrom, (c) the unavailability of these sites or any portion thereof, (d) your use of these sites, or (e) your use of any equipment or software in connection with these sites.

All provisions of the Residential Terms and Customer and User Agreement apply, including, without limitation, Sections 13 (Indemnification), 16 (Limitations and Exclusions of Liability) and 17 (Binding Arbitration) as well as the offer terms for the Mediacom Unlimited Mobile service.

6. Use of Xumo

Use of Xumowill require your compliance with its owner’s terms and conditions in addition to Mediacom’s, such as downloading apps and registering with and giving personal information to third parties as well as possession or acquisition at your expense of items, such as a smartphone, TV set or computer which are not included. Xumohas its own privacy, data security and other policies which are different from Mediacom’s and Mediacom is not responsible for their breach by the owner or its agents/contractors. Mediacom does not select, and disclaims liability because of, the content which may be accessed as a result of using the offered services/products and such content is subject to change at any time. Separate subscriptions are required to view content through various paid applications on Xumo Stream Box and not all apps and content available in 4K.
