Programming Device Control

Each of the additional device keys controls a particular type of device. For example, the DVD/VCR key controls your VCR, DVR, or DVD player, but not your TV, unless you specify otherwise. See "Reassigning Device Keys."

• Turn on the device.
• Locate the setup code for their device using the remote codes tool.
• Press and hold (at least 6 seconds) the mode button you want to program until you see the lights flash twice. Release the mode button and make sure that the button continues to flash.
• Enter the first digit, the light should go solid. Once the full code has been entered the mode button should flash 3 times. If the button doesn't flash 3 times repeat this step with a different code.
• Aim the remote at the device and press the POWER button. The device should turn off. It it doesn't turn off then try steps 2 through 4 with the next code.

If none of the codes work try searching for the correct code.
