Audio On DVR:

1) Check to see if Audio Cords are connected correctly. Red and white cords should be connected to red and white OUTPUTS on digital box. Red and white cords should be connected to red and white INPUTS on television.

2) Check to see if TV audio is turned up.
     a) Push TV Button on Mediacom digital remote.
     b) Push Volume Up

3) Check to see if DCT audio is turned up.
     a) Push Cable Button on Mediacom digital remote.
     b) Push Volume Up

4) Check to see if RF Bypass is turned on
     a) Push Menu
     b) Select House Icon and press OK
     c) Select Set-up and press OK
     d) Select Cable Box Set-up and press OK
     e) Select RF By-pass.  If set to ON, press left arrow to select OFF

5) If you have any programs recorded play the recording for a few seconds, stop, and check the audio again. If there is still no audio try to record something for a few seconds and then replay that recording.

6) Change the channel to the lowest channel in the basic channel line up which should be channel 2 or channel 3. Then go to the receiver and manually channel down to an HD channel in the 800’s, then channel up manually back to the lower channel you had started at.
