Here we go again, modem dropping in and out like a jack in the box. I wasn't home today but husband just said he had to use ATT some today when it dropped in and out this afternoon also & I can see it in the  modem logs also here at 1.43 PM on March 9th also. Modem logs don't show to much of the afternoon, but he said after it dropped right after 1 PM, it was up & down constantly until about 4;15 or so.

I don't see any updates on what they done since March 6th either. I am off for spring break thie coming week so have time for line techs, TOS, anyone & everyone who can fix these disconnect issue's. Let's work to get it fixed this coming week while I am home all day & don't have to miss time to be here all morning or afternoon as something is still wrong here.

I have notified the TOS and his manager as well that this is still ongoing and that you have a free week up ahead. I would also recommend you send a message up to help put a little more urgency to this. I assure you we're pushing for this to get fixed as much as we can.

Modem down again right now. Can't even get into the logs at 192.168.100.1 tells me the address is not valid. Been this way about 101-15 minutes.

I know you guys there are trying........ but tell them it has been long enough now on waiting for a fix, it has got to be fixed this coming week, at my wits end getting disconnected all the time, really screws up everything you try to do. I can't even stream a full movie without it going down all the time at night. The day's are getting worse again & I hate setting here listening to my husband scream when he loses work.

The last communication I have had with him was on March 2nd, after the modem has been in a couple of days. I had sent him modem logs & an update since new modem was installed, (after they though it might be defective batch of modems since a few others were doing the same things our's was at the time, not sure if that is the case now or not).

This is his reply copied & pasted:
As for the drops last night I did not see any full offline instances the high packet loss may possibly be due to radio interference between the 2 routers. Not saying this as a definite just a possibility.

We had also been trying to use the new modem as a wireless router also & he was wondering if the radio freq's might be the problem. It isn't, the modem "wireless" is now turned off & has been a while to eliminate that problem if it ever existed.

I did just send Walter an update of the last few days in email. Please try from your end also as by the day I get more irritated at the disconnects.

Will do. I was thinking your direct line might be quicker.

I will send it back up to local management.

Have you guys heard anything? I sent Walter an email yesterday afternoon, and I have not heard a word from him yet. Just in the lsat 15 minutes we have been disconnected twice. These 2 times were so short, the modem lights never went down at all. The green internet light did however blink very slowly a few times. (it is normally steady lite up). Down just long enough for husband to lose all his work for the last 45 minutes so he is screaming again too.
