Connection issues- Carroll, IA

We've had this issue for awhile now.  Back in August, I had a tech out quite a few times with no good fix. The techs changed the modem and the line coming into the house.  I haven't had any issues for a month or so but it just started up again last week.  I don't fully get kicked off the internet but the internet starts to work really slowly.  Then, I check speedtest.net and it can't even calculate an upload speed.  The upload speed errors out.  The download speed is fine.  I work from home and can tell when this is happening because I get kicked off my vpn all the time.  Please help.

Thank you for the information. I am showing some low signals, are you using a splitter between the wall and the modem?

Yes, but it has been changed in the past few months.  Everytime a tech comes, they check it and it is never the problem.

And as I went to post this (the first time.  This is my second attempt), my internet dropped connection.  Awesome.

It was cancelled because the internet was working fine that morning. However, it is doing again tonight.  I need a tech here when it is doing this otherwise they will never get to the bottom of it.  It does no good for them to come when it is working because then they tell me everything is fine (and yes that has happened before).  This is so annoying.

We are still seeing a low return SNR pretty much the entire day. The connection interruptions seem to happen at random times though, correct?

Understood. I am fairly certain this is all related to the SNR issue and ultimately we will need to have a tech on site to narrow this problem down. I will bring your account to the local technical supervisor and see if he can assist with this one. We will keep you posted once we know more.

The TOS is looking into this. They are currently monitoring the modems on your street to help narrow this issue down. We will keep you posted once we hear back.

Any updates?  The internet was unusable yesterday.  Today it was fine until around 10:30.  Since then it has gone in and out every few minutes.
