Internet Trouble in Albany, KY Again

So, my signal strength problems got fixed... but now we've been having slow speeds the past couple days.  Afternoon to late night.  It's been rather annoying, really.  Could someone look into it please?

I've looked into your modem's signal levels and I'm not seeing anything that should be causing your speeds to drag to such an extent.  Do you have a router you're operating through?  If so, could I ask you to bypass it for me and retest direct into the modem?

About 5-10 minutes apart.

It goes up and down during the day when I test it.  Never had a bit of trouble out of my router before.  Router is made by Belkin.

That speed without the router is still low on the connection you are on. I would recommend having a tech out to double check everything. I am showing this is already set up so I will go ahead and add notes to that job for the tech.

If the issue is utilization the tech will know and he will be able to inform you of this and when they are working to resolve.

There is no reason this shouldn't be accomplished by the first tech out to the customers house.

According to the tech, the modem levels are fine.  He didn't say anything about utilization though.

Speeds are better this afternoon, at least. It's usually evening and night when we have the slow down though.

Good to hear the speeds have improved a bit.  Do me a favor and run some speed tests for me tonight during peak-hours.  I'm interested in what sort of numbers you're pulling at this point.

This certainly does have the appearance of a utilization issue.  I'll be reaching out to your local tech management to run this by them in order to get some clarification on this ongoing issue.  Once I have a response I'll be letting you know what I've found.
