Is this the only channel you are noticing this error on?

Yes.  I haven't gone through all my channels, but of what I watch this is the only one.  As I mentioned in the first post, it has been like this for several weeks, I just haven't reported it until today.

Most likely a hard reset of the cable box will resolve this for you.  Can you remove the power and coax in cables from the box for 30 seconds to a minute.  Then screw the coax cable back on and restore power.

Did the reset as you suggested and the channel is still not active.

I will send some signals over quick to see if that will get the channel working for you.  Is the SD version working?

Alright, let me know if the signals I sent bring the channel back.

Well, right now nothing is working at all.  The reboot is complete, but there is nothing but black screens on all of the channels.  The guide color/aspect ratio appears to have changed as well.

And all of my favorite lists are not there anymore.  I hope that you did not erase them all, there are a pain to set up.

There are some SD channels, but no sound.

That is odd, everything should come back.

I turned the box off and back on and got sound back, but the guide is still changed, the HD channels are still missing, and my favorite lists are still missing.

That shouldn't have caused that to happen.  Perhaps the cablebox itself is going bad.  I would recommend a tech come out though.

Sounds like I should have left it alone.  Now I have bigger problems than I had before.

The box is only a year old too.  One channel goes out, and all the sudden the whole system is shot?

You can try another hard reset to try and get things working again.  It's possible the box was starting to go bad and the signals pushed it over the edge.

I have the HD channels back with sound (still missing WGN HD though), but looks like all setup is going to have to be redone.  HD channels are showing in 4:3 format (squished) and guide is the same.
