Got a surprise visit from a Tech early this afternoon.  He checked outside connections.  Found 2 connectors that were corroded and replaced.  Strange that's what Tech in Oct said he did.  Anyways he checked levels and moved some dividers around to further optimize levels.  By my calculations should be around +3 to +4dBmV to each HDTV Box (was in the +6 to + 7dBmV range). Modem is reporting 0dBmV +/-1dB  S/N @ 36dB.  Not too far off what was there before.  Forgot to write tech's name down but he was very curtious and thorough. 

I'll check for next few nights to see if problem re-occurs.

Still would like to know what frequency each HD Channel is assiogned to.  Would make troubleshooting easier.

Also, we may want to try different equipment, as you have had the same equipment since 10/31/12, and you originally posted on the support forums with video issues 11/2/12.

I'll get back to you after a few days to make sure all working OK.  As far as boxes I replaced one just before Oct Tech visit for another reason, but same problems with both. The other one is different model and also has same problem.  Not convinced boxes are problem if all 3 (different models) have/had same problems and current 2 have them simultaneously.

Update:   NO JOY!   Still get random, momentary blackouts, pixelation, and some s0a00 disconnects after 6PM Central.  So after new connectors, power level adjustments by Tech this just confirms that this is not an RF issue.  RF connections are not channel selective.  This is not an opinion, but fact.  The only way certain channels keep acting up is at the source.  I see the same problems showing up here on the forum quite a bit lately. 

And by the way...FIX those %&* Audio levels required by the FCC.  Getting worse, not better!

Actually yes, thats one of them yesterday.  Wife just said 772 also just went out for a couple of minutes @ 11:45PM Central.  I was watching Science Channel w/o incident short while ago.

Okay, thanks.  We've notified the Technical Operations Supervisor of this and he can research the matter from the headend level.  We can still check the feeds from the headend as it happens, but as we receive feedback from the field we'll be sure to update here.

Unfortunately not.  Still momentary freezes, pixelation but not as bad as before.  Both TV's again.  Same Channels.

Thanks for the update.  We've provided this feedback to the TOS in our correspondence so that he's aware.  This way they can continue to work to identify the issue.

OK.   Went out again 5-10 sec starting around 8:20PM CST. Will let im know next time.

FYI:

Phone out all nite so not sure if anyone working on line.  Looked connected, just no dial tone, incoming calls got "number as been disconnected" which is new one.  Reset Modem and all is well.

There was a large area problem for phones yesterday.  It might have needed to be reset after everything was fixed.  Definitely keep us updated.
