Yeah, hopefully. It won't be my problem anymore if he doesn't.

Just keep it, just in case. I don't want to have to wait for a while if something happens again. We've been having problems with phone and cable too.

The connection is great, compared to what it normally is. I noticed it slowing down, to what it used to be at, once in about an hour. So hardly anything to complain about at all.
What did you guys end up doing?

I understand, so lets look at this metaphorically then.
Lets say the company issues the same general equipment that services what they offer to the area they're supplying for. Since all the customers have the equipment that is capable of what they pay for and it can't be an area problem because they're running off different nodes... then wouldn't that leave the only area variable left? The techs?

Or I guess we can just look at this as "Wow.. must be a coincidence that these problems are in the same area and aren't getting fixed"

Yes I see there are multiple posts from around the same area. However, everyone is on different nodes throughout the area. There are multiple downstream and upstream channels and these problems are not happening on every one of them.

I will admit the majority of these issues are problems with the return signal to noise ratio. There are many things that can be introducing the noise into the line and techs are working to resolve these issues.

The techs work by the general area though, right? So you don't think any of these problems could resolved faster from the performance of the techs?

So can we just be completely honest here and answer some questions?

Do you guys realize that there are multiple posts about the same problem for this area?
Do you guys have any idea whats going?
Do you guys know how to fix it?

I'm just outside of Huntsville too.. Monrovia to be exact. Glad to know its not just me in this area who is having problems that can't be fixed at all.

Just to let you know, they've been working on mine since June..

I told that guy to make sure to tell them both amps, the one on my street and the one off of my street, and he just stared at me and then told me to sign the papers... So from what you're telling me, the only did the one on my street.

Sigh... this is getting old.

Can you downgrade me to this package? 50 cents a month maybe?

Do you have any idea if they actually worked on it yet?

As far as I know, the amps have not been fixed yet. There are still internet problems.

Had someone come out today and checked the amp that's feeding the signal to my street and the amp on my street. He said that they were both screwing up and he put out a work order to get it fixed for today or tomorrow. I'm not really sure how both screwed up but I'll let you know if it gets fixed by then.

He checked the signals and replaced a wire he thought that was contracting when it gets cold out. Now, the internet still drops some and the speeds slow down a ton.

Tested again, speeds aren't what I've peaked at before. It's jumping all over the place..

Thanks, but no thanks. The ETA is supposed to be between 8-10a. That's a two hour gap for them to be there at ANY time. I have things to do, that is why I scheduled at 8-10am. I understand that you don't want/need guys flaming on the forums, but seriously guys get it together. All of these posts are looking the same and its ridiculous how everyone is complaining about how useless the tech are. No problems seem to get fixed without pulling teeth with you guys.

I had a scheduled appointment with your technician today for 8-10am. Nobody showed up and nobody called me. This isn't the first time this has happened either...
