How do I set up Outlook Express / Windows Mail?
 
Click on the Tools menu at the top, and select Accounts.

 
 

Click the Add button on the right, and select Mail...

 

In the Display Name field, type in your name, then click Next.

 

In the E-mail address field, type in the full E-Mail Address, including the @mediacombb.net or @mchsi.com depending on your account, then click Next.

 

In both the Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server fields, type mail.mediacombb.net, then click Next.

 

On the following screen, enter your password into the Password field, then click Next, and click Finish.  This will return you to the Internet Accounts window.

 

 

In the box to the left, select the account you just created, and click Properties.

 

Select the Servers tab, and check the box at the bottom labeled My server requires authentication, then click the Settings button directly to the right.

 

In the Outgoing Mail Server window, select the Log on using option.  In the Account name field, enter your full E-Mail Address, and in the Password field enter your password, then click Ok.

 

Click on the Advanced tab at the top of the window.
On this screen, in the Server Port Numbers section, check both of the boxes that say This server requires a secure connection (SSL), then set the Outgoing mail (SMTP) to 465, and the Incoming mail (POP3) to 995.  Click Ok.

 

Finally, click Close, and your account is fully set up!
